A few words about me and my blog

Hello everyone! I would like to devote today's post to a short story about myself and why I run this blog.


My name is Anastasia. I was born in Russia, in the city of Kazan (it is located relatively close to Moscow, 1.5 hours away by plane). At the age of 17, I moved to Moscow, where I studied first political science, then ecology, then economy. I worked in the field of environmental protection, advised companies on sustainability, conducted research on sustainable development, green economy, and environmental economics. In parallel with work and study, I was always interested in yoga, a mindful and healthy lifestyle, spiritual development. I read various books on these topics, went to classes, and attended lectures. I remember how at the age of 16 I first attended a yoga class in Kazan and was delighted! I felt an incredible lightness in my body, the mood after the class was excellent, I was full of energy! Since then, I have been practicing yoga both on my own and by attending classes in various yoga studios.


Currently, I live in Los Angeles, where I moved about four years ago to pursue an education in social entrepreneurship. I work in the marketing department of a great company that is developing electric mobility in the US and around the world. I am happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of electric mobility, environmental protection, and a better planet!


I also want to make my contribution to improving the lives of the people of this planet. We are all very different, we have different interests, goals, plans. We live in different countries and experience different emotions. At the same time, questions of happiness, mindfulness, health, joy in life are universal for everyone, regardless of where we live and what we do. In 2019, I became a certified yoga instructor with the goal of helping people become happier, healthier, and more mindful through yoga practice. I thank my teachers as well as my yoga studio for the valuable knowledge I have gained through the Yoga Teacher Training program!


I have created this Instagram blog with the aim of sharing with you the knowledge and practices that I use myself and that help me to be happy. Nowadays, when the world around us is changing at a tremendous speed, the ability to maintain inner peace and happiness is very important. Tools such as yoga, meditation, pranayama, healing tao, psychology are time-tested and very effective. I will continue to share my knowledge with you, and I hope that it will be useful to you!
